The statue of the Goddess of Liberty has become an important symbol of our Capitol and for our state. Despite the Goddess' fame, there are many aspects about her design and creation that are shrouded in mystery. Join Dr. Source and Kyle Schlafer, Program Supervisor at the Texas Capitol Visitors Center, and explore the enigmatic origins of this famous sculpture, discover how she became a symbol of the state, and learn what Texans have done to make sure that she remains a part of the Capitol for future generations
