Program Description | Geoff Kaufman has been presenting educational programs and concerts for almost 30 years. His blending of history and song adds a new dimension of learning to such topics as the Civil War, Amistad, and whaling, to name just a few. Kaufman also lends his songs to teaching about the natural environment. Participants can choose from the following programs: History: *The Civil War Through Song *Echoes of Amistad *Of Ships and Captains and History in Song *Singing Westward Ho *Whales and Whaling Environment: *Music of the Waters *Tree of Life *Nature's Meanings Maritime: *Folk Song Companion to Maritime Literature & History *Songs of the Sea | |||||||||||||||
