Let it Bee There are lots of different species of Honey Bees worldwide but Northern Ireland has only one indigenous species which has adapted to our wet climate. Bees play a clear role in pollinating our farm crops and it's estimated that one out of every three mouthfuls of the food we eat depends on Honey Bees. Between 1985 and 2005 the number of honey bee colonies across Ireland and the UK has plummeted by half. Albert Einstein speculated that if the Bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then Man would have only four years of life left. We will show why it is now time to act on behalf of the Honey Bee.
