Learn about the Colonial Period and Martha Washington through an unusual perspective-the decorative arts of Mount Vernon. Susan Schoelwer, curator at Historic Mount Vernon, will lead a distance learning session on a variety of decorative arts-the functional, often beautiful, objects-used by the Washingtons. Students will have the opportunity to send questions prior to and during this interactive program.
We will accept ten sites for this program. Educators will be contacted after registration about processes for submitting questions for program.
