Santa is coming to town on Wednesday, December 1st to visit and videoconference with some very special friends. The sleigh, pulled by eight reindeer, will be flying low over the housetops when Santa will make a wide turn in the air and land the sleigh gently at the Virtual School. Santa, climbing down from the creaking sleigh, will calmly talk to his reindeer and explain they are not there to deliver toys, but only for a short visit with several young friends.
This special visit with Santa will begin with Mrs. Patsy reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas”. Then she will briefly tell about the history of Santa around the world.
Santa will be in his chair ready to answer questions from your students. I have included some possible questions that students may ask Santa. Of course, the children can ask their own questions.
As Santa's voice and the jingling bells fade away, the students will think about their lingering memories of this special visit with Santa.
