FREE Grades 4-8: Dung Matters

Join Entomologist Frank Krell, PhD, who will discuss the importance of dung beetles to Colorado’s prairies and their connection to bison. Frank will talk about the relationship of various insects to their ecosystems and explore the Denver Museum of Nature & Science's zoology collection virtually with students while offering a peek at the breadth and depth of bugs. Students are linked with scientists as they broadcast live from their field sites or Museum labs. Scientists share new discoveries, demonstrate field research techniques, and answer questions from students.
