Grades 4-12: Scientists In Action - Connecting Students with Scientists

Denver Museum of Nature & Science

Scientists in Action – Connecting students with scientists

Want to bring scientific adventure to your classroom? Scientists in Action connects 4th – 12th grade students directly with scientists during a live 40 minute broadcast from field sites or research labs. During these conversations, scientists demonstrate research techniques, share new discoveries, and demystify the scientific process. This educational telepresence creates a ‘being there’ experience that opens a window for students into science careers. A pre visit video is provided that highlights the scientists work, familiarizing students with the content.
